Same Simple DB Question

Hi,

 I just sent a message regarding date formatting in WebDb 2.2, but it didn't come out right. Here it goes again. I have a report that I created from sql code. I'd like to change the date format of a column that is already a date type. When I place the format I want in the format screen and then get the results of my report, the date stays the same. I've tried different date formats to test this and I still get the same date format that is in the table. It does not want to budge. I'd appreciate any suggestions anyone has on this.
