[Quoted] relax...SqlPlus is not designed, really, for serious programming with any real [Quoted] debugging features, so you need to use something like PL/Sql developer, or T.O.A.D. or SqlNavigator ( last 2 are from www.quests.com ) - however, do not overlook the 'list' command in SqlPLus...

With this you can recall the last submitted Sql code, and by using the c/oldvalue/newvalue construct in conjunction with the line number to edit it [Quoted] while it stays in the buffer...

Read the SqlPlus manual and you may find it more useful than it first appears...
