After Install:

  1. shut down oracle with Server Manager (svrmgrl or svrmgr30 in <ORACLE_HOME>/bin): connect internal; shutdown immediate; exit;
  2. edit db_block_size in file init<SID>.ora (located somewhere in <ORACLE_HOME>, depends on Oracle-Version; take search-function of Windows-Explorer, search for "init*.ora")
  3. save file and start up oracle with svrmgrl: connect internal; startup; exit;

Please give more information about OS- and Oracle-Version, if you plan to ask questions in this NG later.
