I would like to create in Oracle Reports a field which will increment itself and show the values 1, 2, 3... like a row number. I think it should be a common task, still I can't find a way to do it. I guess I need something like the ROWID of the select clause, or a before-field trigger where I will increment my parameter.
Please anybody help me in this matter. Any ideas?
