Multiple table query

Hi,

I have two table one customer and the other orders.

Does anyone know how to create a datablock that can query any column from either table and produce a result set from a join to both tables ?

eg. I enter the customer name and the customer details are retrieve to gether with its orders.

The above I can do by simply creating two datablocks with a relationship between them.

But consider the following example:

I enter the product code from the order table and all customer ordering that product are returned.

I would like to create a form that could cater for both of these situations WITHOUT USING VIEWS.

This is my first posting, so my apologies if it is in the wrong forum.
