Backup process for Oracle8 database on NT Server

Hi,

Would [Quoted] like to automate a process to backup the Oracle database by shutting down the [Quoted] application and Oracle services, doing the backup and then restarting the processes. I assume some type of bat command file is needed ?

Any ideas how best to accomplish a good backup of the database and the drive?
