Re: I HATE Oracle Reports! Anything better out there?

Frankly, I haven't found much you cannot do in Crystal Reports Professional ( I'm currently using v8 ) - I can create very complex reports and, in addition, deploy them to the Web with no re-write..

For instance I have just completed a report that :

Selects _at_ 5000 employees with their job titles and wage from 1 table - Selects their supervisor ( from that same table using a self-reflexive alias link) - then selects their work history from another table ( in a remote database) and inserts it as a detail section for each employee...

In Crystal this took about 1 hour to design....I wouldn't know how to begin in Oracle Reports ( which I have used since v3 under DOS)...
