Re: Designer/2000 Installation Problem

No this is not necessary unless you have installed Oracle in the default home that Designer wants to use. If you installed Oracle into a named home ...Orant815...or whatever, you can install Designer after you install Oracle. Don't blow away your database unnecessarily.
