I belive you might find that the consultant has distributed the compiled Forms files (FMX) and that he/she probably created them in Forms 5.
The FMB files are backward compatible, and need to be recompiled into FMXs. There are 3 options:
- Consultant gives you source and you recompile everything in Forms 6 and redistibute the FMX files.
- Consultant recompiles in Forms 6 and gives you FMX files.
- Consultant create FMT (binary text) files, you import them and compile into FMX.
