media recover

Hi,
Iīve a problem with a tablespace that needs media recover. I donīt have the archive files that are required for the recovery anymore.
The data in it is no problem, because this tablespace isnīt really in use yet.
But I only get the database up when I set this tablespace offline. Is there a possibility to set this tablespace online without making a media recovery and without creating the tablespace new?
