I would not delete anything. It's ok to have multiple releases of Net8 client on the same box. Awhile back I had three Oracle homes, each with their own Net8 or Network directory. If you only want to maintain one set of configuration files (tnsnames.ora for example), you can set the TNS_ADMIN environment variable to point to just one of those directories.
