Get newest Item value after a Block Trigger

I have a Block with the items Daytime, minutes and summary.

This Block containes e.g.

daytime                  minutes
01.JAN.00 12.00 AM        20
01.JAN.00 14.00 AM        20
02.JAN.00 12.00 AM        20

When the cursor is in the first record i want to show in the summary item 40.
When I calculate it in the block trigger and set the summary item to 40 I see the item value first when the block trigger fires next time.
