REP-3002 ERROR INITIALIZING PRINTER

hi,
i'm trying to print out some reports thru the web browser but i've
encountered the following error :
REP-3002 ERROR INITIALIZING PRINTER INFORMATION WHEN RUN_PRODUCT ON WEB
fyi, i'm using Reports 6.0 and the report works fine when run on clientserver
environment. i've since contacted the Oracle Support group and
they said they've exhausted all possible remedies ...
one reason given was :
The server needs to have a printer installed for Run_Product to work
on the web even though the clients use the printers set up with the
client machine and not the printer set up on the server machines.
REP-3002 occurs when there is no printer installed on the server.
i've tried - ADD NEW "PRINT TO FILE" PRINTER ON SERVER and set it as default as well assigning a default network printer to server but things still doesn't work.
