I used to work with OAS 4.0.7 on NT 4 SP5 and Solaris 2.6

In general Oracle Is more stable on Unix than NT. Also you have more flexability on Unix than NT. I was told that you can have OAS and DB on two different Servers, but I do not know if they should be the same type of servers. Tom
