Personal Oracle 8i/OEM 204 and backups

I've installed Personal Oracle 8i and OEM 204. I want to be able to back up my database.

When I try this to back up the database I'm told that I have to use the console
and when I try to use the console the jubs just sit there. When I ping the node I'm told that it doesn't seem to have an agent.

It seems as though I need to install the SNMP agent which is the one thing missing from my installation. When I try to install the agent. it tries to deinstall Oracle.

How do I install the SNMP agent without deinstalling Oracle? Alternatively, how do I backup the database from the command line? Received on Mon Feb 07 2000 - 17:07:46 CET
