TAB key crashes form in 5.0.6.19 runtime

I recently applied Patch 7 to upgrade form builder to rev 5.0.6.19. When I run a previously-built form (rev. 5.0.6.8?) and press the TAB key in a poplist List item, the form crashes. It is a very "slow" crash, too as there is a lot of disk activity, but nothing happening on the form, for about 10-15 seconds before the runtime window goes away.
