At some [Quoted] point in time (and I think it may still be current) you could only specify [Quoted] home names up to 6 characters long (except for DEFAULT_HOME of course). Why [Quoted] don't you try limiting your webdb home name to 6 characters, install it in [Quoted] d:\webdb (or something other than d:\orant), cross your fingers and hope that it works.
