I found that the PL/SQL editor WAS indeed opening. It's just that I needed to scroll miles to the right to get to it.
Now in Forms5, the PL/SQL Editor opens in the position in which it was last closed.
It seems I cannot just drag it back, but I can drag it in a large number of screen-sized steps.
How it got out there in the first place I have no idea. It doesn't seem possible to be able to drag the PL/SQL Editor window out there.
I'd still welcome any comments.
