Reports 2.5 - How Do I Modify Vertical Lines?

I'm working on a report that has vertical lines between columns.

Within a repeating frame, there's a data column, a vertical line, then another data column, then another vertical line, etc. I've got the data columns set up to be variable for the vertical sizing. However, when the data occupies more than one line (and starts to wrap within the column), the vertical lines do not get longer - they stay the same size (as if there were only one line of data). Is there any way to make the vertical lines "vertical sizing" vary in the same manner as the data fields' vertical sizing?

I'm using Oracle Reports version 2.5.7.11.0.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
