hi people,
i need to know if it's possible to find (for free) the description of the protocol sql*net uses over tcp/ip. i need it 'cuz i need to implement pretty basic but *fast* requests. maybe oci is the best for that still, but i'd like to check whether the protocol is too hairy or not (i'd prefer to write a limited implementation by myself just for my needs).
