Reports 3.0: DESTYPE of PREVIEW vs. SCREEN

If I understand the documentation correctly, if I specify a DESTYPE of SCREEN for my report, it will format nicely to the screen, but will not necessarily format properly when printed. If I specify a DESTYPE of PREVIEW and DESNAME of a printer, the report will format on the screen according to the specifications of the printer driver, then print properly.

When I run reports and specify DESTYPE=PREVIEW with a correct printer in DESNAME, I am able to print the report successfully, but the preview screen chops the top pixel or two off of each field, making the text difficult to make out. I am using Reports 3.0.5.8.0 under Windows 95, printing to an HP Laserjet 4SiMX with the HP Laserjet 4SiMX printer driver. Is there any way to have the report both appear nicely on the screen and print properly?
