forms 5.0 : file descriptor parameter for a procedure

I need to "pass" to a PL/SQL program unit procedure a file descriptor. But the TEXT_IO.file_type is not recognized by the compiler in compilation phase of my forms.

How can I do my exchange of parameter between two procedures
