Dan,
If your trying to log into the OEM management server for the first time through the OEM console, the default login is sysman with password oem_temp. Make sure that you have a good Net8 connection to the instance that's housing the OEM repository. Once you've logged into the management server, you'll need to create new administrator accounts with different login/password than the default "sysman" account.
