sqlplus _at_connect string problem : prevent from using UTLFILE package ?

I have got some stored procedure that use UTLFILE package. All works fine.
Lately, I have altered a script of mine, using
sqlplus user/password_at_connect string instead of
sqlplus user/password
, because I needed to connect to an instance that could not be the same
pointed by ORACLE_SID. From this day, all the file access operation
have
been claimed to be invalid operation.
What have I done wrong ?
