Designer Tutorial - Generate Module Error

In Lesson 7, when I try to Generate the module, I get the following error:

CDI-21600: A Running Generator or Utility has failed.

It says to close and restart the application, but this has no effect. I do have DEV 2000 installed.

Any suggestions on how to get pass this will be greatly appreciated.
