Reports 2.5 / Format Trigger

I have the following problem:         

In the layout of a report I placed a "format trigger" on a repeating frame. The repeating frame contains the items, that are shown in the output. In the repeating frame I write the value of the contained items in a file on the server. Now in the file some lines of the report appear twice, but not so in the report itselfe.

I thought, that a format trigger on a repeating frame fires for each line of the containing items exactly one time, but it seems not be like that.

Any help is welcome.
