Oracle CORBA example trouble

Hi, I hope someone can help me please. I have installed the CORBA sample that comes with 8i(8.1.5 for NT). Whe I run the makit.bat file, I get an error that says >==<> unexpected at this time. This is a batchfile error somethign to do with the evironment variables not being set. I have set ORACLE_HOME, JDK_CLASSPATH and CLASSPATH and ORACLE_SESSION as told to by the readme's. Thanks in advance Graeme
