I thought Yar had responded with the correct resolution:
Have you resized the window?
Sequence:
Right-click on the offending canvas in the navigator,
select [properties] from the pop-up list remember (write down) canvas height and widthSelect [window] in the navigator
select the appropriate window for the canvas
double-click to view properties insure window height and width = the canvas'. NOTE: Can you resize the 'white rectangle' smaller? When I first ran into this I noticed I could shrink a canvas, but could only enlarge it to a certain point. That point was the settings of the Window. NOTE: when working graphically, switch over and view the navigator to see what item's highlighted, that way, when you resize the 'white rectangle' you can refer to it explicitly as a 'box', 'canvas' or whatever...
