I am writing an SQL report where I need the column headers to use variables. I see in the Oracle Reference guide where a variable can be used in the ‘ttitle’ and ‘btitle’ commands, but can not find a way to use it in column headings. Is there a way to assign a value to be included in the report column header?

My report is a monthly aging report in which the column headings need to contain the name of the last 6 months (‘Mon’). I know how to get the month I need (using to_char) but do not know how to plug it into the column header.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! TIA
