WebDB: mime type for Excel?

WebDB still uses "application/excel" as mime type when rendering a report in Excel format though "application/vnd.ms-excel" seems to be some sort of new standard. At least neither Windows/IE nor Netscape 4.5 standard installation recognized "application/excel". I wonder if it would be too radical to do a simple update to the utility packages instead of setting up the mime type for users. Does anyone know if it could cause any problems, except of course to users who still have only "application/excel" set up?
