Hi,
[Quoted] Is there a way that you can change the whole of an Oracle instance (or
specific tables) to ignore case when searching
e.g Select * from x
where col = " abc"
col
ABC
abc
ABc
On MS SQL Server 6.5 , you had to reinstall and change the Sort Order.
Is there an equivalent in Oracle 7.3 or 8.0.5. ?
I am aware of the Upper () and Lower (), I am looking for something more global.
