Reports 3.0 mailing problem

Hi everyone
When I try to mail a report using reports 3, I get a error message saying
REP-4201 Error occured while initialising the mail sub system REP-4220 There is a problem with the mail sub system
I had a look through the help for those error messages and tried all the remedies. It doesen't seem to work still. Any suggestions!!!
