connecting oracle73 to ODBC source

well, I have to do one thing and have no idea how, I have to import a lot of data from one ODBC source into oracle. Let's just say I cant use SQLLoader. Can I connect one user to some let's say excell book and get data like
create table name__ as
select * from table_from_excel ;
or is there other way to do it? some (freeware/shareware) tool ???
