[Quoted] [Quoted] I'm new to developing for Oracle8. I have a copy of the Programmer tools, [Quoted] and am ready to begin. Here's what I need to develop: There is a system that currently is designed to get data from an Objectstore database. I am [Quoted] customizing the system so it will grab data from an Oracle8 database and feed to the system. I am thinking of creating an "OracleConnection" object [Quoted] that will mask the inteface to Oracle. In this way I hope to make a generic [Quoted] object that can be used any time I need to interface to Oracle. The [Quoted] implementation of the "OracleConnection" object will be carried out with embedded SQL. Does this make sense? Where can I get examples of implementing embedded SQL in C++ objects? What is a good resource for beginning Oracle programmers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
