  Handling of binary data (at least JPEGs) by SQL*Loader in 8.0.5.1.1 is indeed broken, at least on Digital UNIX.   

  I have a procedure which works fine with 7.3.4.3, but with 8.0.5.1.1 dumps core.

  Called Support, and they confirmed that it is a bug. Sigh.
