Thanks for all your advice.
Personally I think it's getting way to complex when you consider changing
the sort order will avoid all this mess. I think there would be too many
holes trying to insert at the top, everyone can point one out at least, so
I'm recommending the sort order change, with a note saying Look Dumb User:
Sort Order changed. OK! (perhaps a little more diplomatic though)
