haben sie bei der installation (bei der sprachauswahl) auch WE8ISO8859P1 angegeben? das ist meiner erinnerung nach unabdingbar. wenn sie also dort us... oder einen sonstige font-type angegeben hätten und nur nachträglich die NLS_LANG-Umgebungsvariable gesetzt haben, wäre das eine Erklärung
