Why don't you use this ? It's always faster that ODBC !!!!!
Don't you have the File MDAC_TYP.EXE ???
The Providername for the Connect String is "msdaora"
You can get the fille with Visual Basic or SQL Server 7 (Or SQL Server Update which is free on the Microsoft page)
But I think you already had that file
Or how do you Install ADO ????
