The only explicit limitations that I see are a lack of cute GUI objects. The most serious (IMO) is the lack of a fram object that allows users to change column widths and orders at runtime.

Forms, however, REQUIRES a template to be efficient. You either need to buy one build your own.
It also requires a skilled technical lead. Either you get someone to help you get up to speed or you get to make the same mistakes we all did getting there. The ODTUG conference is comming up, you should consider going. That is where the folks who really know the tools gather. You can link to the ODTUG web site from ours.

Trying to do it on your own is "sub-optimal".
