hi there -
Oracle JInitiator will not be ported to Sun Solaris. Oracle have recently announced certification for Developer 6.0 based applications on Sun Solaris using the JavaSoft JDK 1.1.7B reference implementation and also the JavaSoft Java Plug-in 1.1.2.
A paper describing all of this should be on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN).
