If there are any other managers of digital publishing production professionals out there like myself, you may be interested in a web-site that is offering a free download of a software application that is supposed to help you perform a needs analysis of your current publishing production processes and bottlenecks. The application is called CatPack2000. The program also includes a spreadsheet of all of the leading asset management solution provider's products that you can cross reference the result's of your needs analysis with, and print out a report. It seems like a great freebie for anyone involved in the digital publishing biz.
