WebDb configuration

Hello,
Our configuration is the following : Sun Solaris 2.6, Oracle 8i under partition /oracle, OAS 4.07 under partition /oas.
We've installed WebDb under $oracle_home of the oracle user following the documentation of the WebDb installation. The french hotline support suggest us to install WebDb unde the $oracle_home of the oas user. So we have a doubt.
What do think about this ? What is the difference between this two configurations ?
