Re: Dial up network dialog box when SQL*Plus is invoked

Using Internet Explorer, select VIEW/INTERNET OPTIONS and then select the CONNECTION tab. Choose connect to the internet using a local area network.

You may want to check your network settings. Make sure no unnecessary items are bound to the dial up TCP/IP.
