I've used Oracle Reports. It's extremely powerful, and for complex reports (we have one report with >100 queries in it, which dynamically creates and populates about half a dozen temporary tables, dropping them when completed) it's very good. However (at least with v2.5) the part of Forms which enables users to enter runtime parameters is rather naff, and the layout editor can be a little fiddly.

Otherwise, it's pretty good and pretty stable. It's rather slow to load at runtime (takes about 30 seconds on my PC, even for the simplest Reports). THis is in client server mode - we don't use the web.

Any relation to Stephen?

Very wise!
