I have no idea about Report 3.0. But I am working on Report 2.5 now an have the same problem. My answer is NO WAY in Rep 2.5, since I have found that the Report disables the user interaction during Parameter Form running. Actually you can't capture what the user input from the keyboard/mouse. No trigger is provided.

The workaround is create the parameter form in Forms, and pass them when you call report. The Forms gives us more flexibilities.
