Since the ActiveX control that you used is a tailor made control and I am not familiar with ActiveX control development, I do not have any idea on changing the ActiveX control so as to solve your problem. On the Oracle Forms side, have you tried to place your coding in the event handling package body (created by OLE importer) for the ActiveX control ?
