Hi All,
I'm a bit of a newbie to backups...and am experimenting. I did a full database export. I was trying to do a full database import back into the same database to restore it...

Well, I ran the IMP73 command...(this is Oracle 7.3 on WinNT 3.51)...and it has been running since last night and most of today, and still running. I would like to kill this as it is slowing things down too much. What would be the consequences of killing this....

If I killed it now....would everything to now roll back to before the import, or is there some kind of default commit after certain numbers of records built in?

Any suggestions or pointers to information greatly appreciated...
