Hello,

I am attempting to reverse engineer a Oracle database using the Design Capture feature and it captures the schema and the diagram shows nicely but saving is an impossibility. here's the problem:

I am running v212 for design, using Design Editor, I do a Capture database. The DB I am capturing is on a 7.3.4 DB on AIX and the designer is on NT with the repository on a V8.05 DB.

It captures the the database fine with warnings etc. (fine I can live with these for now)showing the diagram. I press save to commit the retrieval but I get error CDA-00501 unsual format type <procedure name> 199100. That's the first problem.

The 2nd problem is somehow I managed to get around this error ( on one of my many tries) and actually get around this and saing it to an actual ServerDiagram Model; however, when I close it, exit it, then come back in and open it, it give the message the some objects have been deleted. I press OK and actually ALLLL my objects have been deleted.

What the heck!!

Any one of any ideas? Need more data.

Please email at DEVDEWBOY_at_HOTMAIL.COM or ESCJL_at_EXPANSION.COM.

Thanks,
