Dear Hanns,

If you are looking for an alternative for mail-merge functionality from an
Oracle database to Microsoft Word we have a product  SQLWord for this functionality.

You can dowload the SQLWord evaluation version from  www.sequel.nl

We want to get data from a Oracle-Server (7.3, Dec-UNIX) via MS-Query
into MS-Word (for mail merge). MS-Query comes along with Office 97, the
version of MS-Query is 8.0.
For this we need a ODBC-driver to Oracle for WindowsNT 4. With our
driver from Oracle (Version 2.03) this does not function. MS-Query puts
the error-message "Unable to connect to database-server.
SQLSetConnectAttr-Call fails" on the screen.
But the Oracle-tool "32-bit ODBC-Test" says, that it's all OK and I can
establish the connection to the oracle-database

Can anyone help me? Which version of the ODBC-driver do I need? Where
can I get it?
If there is no such driver: What are the alternatives for using
MS-Query?
