open a window and put the focus on it

I use Forms 5.0
How can I open a document window and put the focus on it(place it on top of the current window) programmatically?
I tried

           Show_window('new_window_name');
           Go_item('block_name_of_a_block_in_the_new_window');

and the window opens but it is put under the current window. Thanks in advance.
